The SOS DC Chapter raises funds to support SOS Children’s Villages Pakistan so that they can provide a loving home to children who have lost parental care or come from unstable family situations. These include orphans, abandoned children, and those brought to us by relatives, locals or sometimes by government agencies. We also support children of single mothers through SOS Pakistan's Family Strengthening Program.
Girls without any family remain with us as long as they need many stay into adulthood and get married while still under our care. Boys are encouraged to transition to independent living once they’re financially stable, usually between ages 23–25.
Every child under SOS Pakistan's care depends on the generosity of sponsors. Your support covers essentials like food, education, healthcare, and a stable home but more than that, it reminds the child that someone out there cares. If you choose to sponsor a Village, your contribution helps all the children living there.
Every dollar you give goes directly to the child or Village you’re sponsoring. No hidden cuts, no distractions.
There’s no fixed obligation. We only ask that you continue your monthly support for as long as you're able. If you need to pause or stop, just let us know; it’s that simple.
